Classification Of Boxers

For Competition

AGE CLASSIFICATION: The Age Of A Boxer Is Determined Using His/Her Year Of Birth.

Prep Boxers: Boys & Girls (Minimum Age Of 8 Using The Actual Birth Year, Maximum Age Of 14).
The Prep Program Will Will Consist Of Three Age Divisions Boys/Girls:

  • Pee Wee: Ages 8,9,10
  • Bantam Division: Ages 11, 12
  • Intermediate Division: Ages 13,14

Junior Boxers, Boys/Girls

Junior Boxers: Ages 15, 16

Youth Boxers, Boys/Girls

Youth Boxers: Ages 17, 18

Elite And Senior Boxers, Boys/Girls

Elite And Senior Boxers: Ages 19 - 40

Men and women boxers ages 35-40 shall declare age classification upon registration with USA boxing, either as a senior/elite or masters boxer. Once a boxer ages 35-40 has declared as a master they will no longer be eligible for the elite division.
